After falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter and 21-6 at the half the Raiders showed tremendous charecter and heart as they came out and played a near perfect second half, outscoring the Bees 33-0. Behind Jordan Treens 3 TD passes to Maurice Mills and rushing TD's by Treen, Maurice Peace and Lawrence Elliott. What may have been even more impressive was the performance of the entire defense. All 11 players contributed in shutting down an outstanding RB and sacking the B'ville QB 6 times. It was an outstanding performance which we hope can be replicated next week.
Game Preview : Proctor vs W'genny @ L'pool (Sat 7pm)
This week the Raiders for the 2nd year in a row, play for spot in the Section 3 finals at the Carrier Dome. This time another rematch with undefeated state ranked West Genesee. The Wilcats even with some injuries have been scoring at an unbelievable pace. Their offense is outstanding with the ability to run and throw. Although we were in the game much of the first half in the first meeting we made several mistakes which allowed them to score often. We must clean up those mistakes and get off the field on 3rd down. We need to do a better job offensively to keep their high powered offense off the field. We need to play with the emotion and intensity we played with last week. We will need to find the "Zone" starting with the opening kick off to the final whistle.
